Last week when I was in Utah, Kitty told me that my hair looked like Kirsten Dunst's at the Oscars. I only saw parts of the Oscars interspersed with episodes of Arrested Development: Season One, none of which included her. I do really like Kirsten Dunst though, so I was happy. This morning I looked through 31 pages of Oscar photos online looking for her before I stumbled onto this one. Try not to stare at orange Orlando and tell me what you think of her hair...I can't decide. I mean, I don't hate it, but I don't look at it and think "wow, I wish my hair looked like that" either. And frankly, I think that we all know that my at-home-haircut probably isn't as good as a star's, so maybe I need to rethink my current style. Anyway, it has been some food for thought for me today.
Speaking of the Oscars, my favorite part, of the parts I did see, was something that America had been wanting for a long time.. And that is--Salma and Penelope side by side. Finally! Having compared and contrasted, and as much as I wanted to choose curvy Salma, I have to say, I pick Penelope. And that is that. You?

1. I must say that you can (and DO) do better than that. I normally really like Kirsten's hair, but that just isn't working for her.
2. I BEG TO DIFFER about the Salma/Penelope thing. I think Penelope closely resembles a large bird, like an Ostrich, or an Emu. Salma is the one for me.
Your hair does look like that, but it looks better on you because it looks less rigid. I like your hair. I like Kirsten to wear her hair a little messier, personally.
As for the Salma/Penelope question. I too was thinking to myself: This is it. I need to decide now that they are right in front of me. I think I'd rather look like Penelope because she's so skinny but I'd rather be with Salma. And by "be with," I mean spend time with/marry if I were a man. Sometimes Penelope's face looks like you are viewing it through the bottom of a glass, and I couldn't live with that.
I am completely distracted by one of them being "squished" and one of them being "pushed" by their dresses in the bosom region. That's the only difference I see.
Someone clear this up for me: do they or do they not both look French Canadian? That's my main issue here. I have a really hard time believing that either one of them speak Spanish as a native language. I just don't see it.

Why I like Penelope better, at least in this picture:
Penelope's prettier. Her dress is cuter, if a bit prommy. Salma's hair has issues. (Who parts their bangs in the middle like that? Sorry if I offended anyone.)
EXCUSE ME, but I part my bangs down the middle. Eliza, I am totally offended....But seriously, can't somebody acknowledge the fact that Penelope looks like a large bird? Look at her neck, and her beak-like nose! Those close-set eyes. I feel like she is about to charge.
I liked your hair when you were out here, and I am a total Salma fan...which is why I purposely didn't see "Frieda" because I didn't want to have certain images burned into my mind...like what happened with Penelope in "Vanilla Sky"...but I love the name Penelope and hope to name a daughter that one day...and maybe call her Penny.
I think that Kirsten's hair was cute there- I liked it. I don't know what you look like or what your hair looks like- so I can't really comment there.
As for Selma vs. Penelope... Suzie was distracted by the breast region?
I agree that Penelope on occasion looks like a large bird- but overall I think she looks very graceful and beautiful. But... Salma wins hands down,I didn't need to see a picture of them together to know that. She is one of the hottest women on the planet. When Mask of Zorro came out I heard some rumor she might be cast in the female lead- but it was Catherine Zeta Jones instead. I was slightly disappointed. My friend who saw the movie with me at the time was like "what are you talking about?"
He insisted CZJ is hotter than Salma.

CZJ is hot. She is absolutely gorgeous. I could buy an argument that she is prettier than Salma Hayek- however when it comes down to it Salma is hotter. She is pure sex. She is just hotter than people should be allowed to be.
I'm reading all your old blogs to catch up on all the news. I do, however, have very distressing news. Kirsten Dunst can't act to save her life. She is cute, i'll grant that, but got less and less cute the more of Wimbleton i watched. painful.
